This privacy policy applies to Three Dots Education France (referred to as "Three Dots Education," "Three Dots," or "we") – a SAS domiciled at 122 rue Amelot, 75011 Paris – and describes how we process personal data and other information through our website, chatbot, and platform (collectively, our "Solutions").

ARTICLE 3 - PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED AND PROCESSED

3.1 Chatbot Use

​

When using the chatbot, the only personal data we access are those voluntarily provided by the user (name, location, age, interests, email). These are used exclusively to provide a personalized learning experience.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3.2 Website (threedotseducation.io)

​

No personal data is collected from simple browsing, except:

​

  • Pages visited, timestamps, data volume;

  • Browser and device information;

  • Referral URLs;

  • IP address (anonymized in due time).

This data is used for technical and statistical purposes only. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3.3 User Accounts

​

To access lessons and features, users must register via our chatbot-integrated platform. We collect basic information (name, email) when applicable. Data is encrypted and retained until account deletion.

Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

​

3.4 Contact and Newsletter

​

For inquiries or newsletter subscription, we process only the necessary contact information. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

3.5 Data Retention

​

We retain data only as long as necessary for contractual or legal purposes. Once expired, data is deleted or anonymized.

Chatbot messages are stored for educational progress purposes only and are anonymized. Retention: 6 months.

Data may be shared with service providers for hosting or technical support, or disclosed under legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

  • Access, rectify, erase, or restrict data (Art. 15–18);

  • Data portability (Art. 20);

  • Object to processing (Art. 21);

  • Lodge a complaint with the CNIL or other competent authority.

Cross-border data transfers are performed under appropriate safeguards and contractual agreements.
